beep-udeb software package provides advanced pc-speaker beeper - minimal package, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install beep-udeb
beep-udeb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the beep-udeb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep beep-udeb *
You will get with beep-udeb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
